Find balance in your life and relationships
Catalyzing Courage is a counseling office that emphasizes inclusive and affirming care. Inclusive means that we want everyone to feel welcome and at home here. Whether you are autistic, queer, a person of color, or polyamorous, we have cultivated knowledge and a human space that makes every attempt to understand your lived experience. And those are just some of the niche people we work with. For a more exhaustive list, check out the about section.
Affirming means we respect who you are and how you live your life. Often trans and queer people can feel like outsiders. And there's plenty of stigma out there for sexual outsiders like people involved in kink and sex work. This can often leave someone feeling 'othered'. We affirm your lived experiences and normalize your life. So, you can talk about these aspects of your lives or simply let them exist in the background among others. You choose the direction of your therapy.
"Saw Ezekiel for a little over 6 months, and they got me through a really hard break up and huge transition in my life as I also graduated from college and felt like my whole life was shifting. What I appreciated the most about our therapy together is how much space Ezekiel allowed me to just feel all the feelings I was feeling during this super confusing and stressful time, while also bringing in their own experiences and authenticity that helped me feel more normal allowed me to understand my own struggle. By the end of our therapy, ultimately I could feel the difference in me and the leap I took from that sad and scary place I was in when I first met with them to who I was and still am now, more confident, clear headed, and with a little more understanding of myself and my needs."

Ezekiel not only got me through multiple of the lowest points of my life but helped me process years of childhood and young adult events which were keeping me from finding true happiness. Ezekiel has a way of making you feel completely comfortable, even when discussing the most uncomfortable things. Even on days when I didn't feel like having therapy, I left my sessions feeling calm, renewed, and like I was in a healthy place. If only I could still see Ezekiel while now living across the country. I cannot recommend their services enough.
