About Us
Our Values
Multicultural Counseling
We recognize that every person's lived experience is not the same. Some are drastically different than others. This can include but is not limited to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, cultural background, religion, atheism, non-monogamy, and kink. These identities are part of your story and we work to integrate them into the therapeutic process.
LGBTQ+ Affirming Care
We understand that realizing who you are is a lot more complicated that just a new identity. It's a process. One that can be incredibly difficult for some people. Many parts of being queer are fluid and evolving. Let us walk with you through that process.
All Relationships Welcome (Ethical Non-monogamy)
Not every relationship dynamic is the same. We believe every person should find a relationship strategy that best suits them and their partner(s). We are informed in many different types of relationship dynamics from polycules to relationship anarchy, while also understanding the nuance differences for those that choose a hierarchy, non-hierarchy, or solo polyamory. Find what's right for you.
Sexual Outsiders
Your body is your body, and how you choose to use it is up to you. We provide a safe space to discuss your experiences, and assist you away from unintended harm and toward healthier situations when necessary. We can also simply affirm your lifestyle and work on other areas of life.

Professional Journey
While counseling is my calling, it was not my first career. I spent many years working on my own personal development before I decided to transition from a promising information technology career to one of helping people through their own transformational process. Initially, I thought about going directly into coaching services or to become a practitioner of a specific model of therapy like Internal Family Systems. This was due to the invaluable understanding and education obtained from my personal journey. There is no formal training that can substitute the depth of understanding that comes from going deep within your own psyche. Regardless, I decided to couple all the experience I had with more formal training in human psychology and counseling.
I finished my bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in clinical and counseling from Saint Leo in 2017 and graduated with my master's and specialist degrees from University of Florida in 2020--meeting requirements for both marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling. Over the course of my training, I worked at UFHealth's Anxiety/OCD clinic where I received training in the medical model of therapy, which tends to be more structured, and I tried to balance that with a position at a humanistic private practice, which translates to a more relational and person-centered approach that goes where the process needs to go. Additionally, I worked at a mental health treatment center to become more informed in complicated mental health struggles, diagnoses, and addictions.
Irvin Yalom once said, “it’s the relationship that heals.” I keep that in the back of my mind in the process with each client. The tools and methods are important, and I always have a plan, but if it’s not working, it’s okay to just check in and see if we need to go in a new direction. I say “we”, because my process is collaborative. Your goals and where you are minute-to-minute in session are paramount. That guides the process.
